Using monthly data from January 2015 to December 2024 we estimated required return on equity for LSB Industries. CRSP was used to obtain monthly stock returns with risk factors from the Fama-French dataset2for LSB industries. In both models, LSB's excess stock return was the dependent variable1 as shown by the formula below. From the results LSB showed a very high systemic risk as indicated by beta of 1.93 which means it is highly sensitive to market4 changes.
